Sup people thought I'd put a thread up iknow forums are not as active as fb these days but thought I'd do something on here.
Progress is slow only picked it up 3 months ago so just enjoying it for now
Went from this. Which was a headache gave us nothing but problems from the first few months of ownership.

Then it was time for a family holiday down south to Devon for a week and got to say the car done a 600 mile round trip perfectly. couldn't be happier
Back home in not so sunny birmingham and had to get rid of tow bar the best I could in the time I had not fully removed but done what I could.
Still need to get the bracket and electrics out which I'll do after work one day.
No more knee banging when getting stuff out the boot
Also done a quick diy of painting back vw badge black not sure if I like it. Also want to remove the Passat and tdi badges
Now it's need a good scrub from clay bar to wax.
Coilovers and some wheels will be on soon possibly with a decat and back box delete and nice induction kit.
But for now it's time to enjoy it and tidy up a few bits that need attention.Thanks Aiden.
