Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Chris from Cornwall and I have looked at Passat’s for years but always ended up getting something else from the VAG range. Family life means my Golf GTD wasn’t big enough anymore and I tended to jump into my wife’s Leon FR Estate instead of the golf. When I decided to switch it was a choice between a transit custom and a Passat.
In the end for several reasons the Passat won and I ended up getting a very highly specced GTE. I’m looking forward to reading the forums for possible retrofits as that’s my favourite part of VAG ownership.
