I'm new to this forum and need help with my 2001 Passat 1.9 avf engine. I noticed the other day the engine made a funny sound and it turned out the water pump has failed and sent swarf round the cambelt area, luckily the cambelt didn't snap but it has damaged the crankcase toothed gear. I've ordered a new one and need some advice on getting the old one off and reinstalling new cambelt and water pump and tensioner with the hydraulic tensioner setup. Thanks
