B7 - 2014 estate - Head unit advice

Haven't even collected the new car yet and already I'm building the list of changes.
The main one is to get CarPlay working, either on the existing unit or via a replacement.
Image of current one attached, a 315 I believe.
I have a RCD330 in an old B6 as well as a pioneer SPH-DA130 but I'm thinking the screen could be much larger, I'd also like to retain the can bus graphics, parking sensors, climate etc. It must be able to turn the screen off for night driving.
I've seen many Android units reviewed on YouTube but every review on selling sites seems to be poor.
I did search the forums but didn't come across an answer.
