First of all apologies if this has been covered before, I've done a good search through and everything I've found is either not relevant or the models are out of date.
I've just bought a B5.5 wagon sport (my 3rd Passat) on an 02 plate and it has they usual Gamma and 6 disk changer setup. What I would like to do is replace this with a double DIN unit that has the following:
- DAB (my current aerial is in a bad way so happy to change this but unsure if this is easy enough with preassembled looms etc)
- Sat Nav (again happy to install an antenna but ideally would like a system that is easily updatable with new maps)
- Bluetooth connectivity to a phone
The other items that would be good but not essential are:
- Capabality to add a reversing camera
- iPod connectivity
- DVR for a hard wired dash cam
