choosing a sub set up

Post by aposegil »

Hello guys

quick question as not sure if to change at the mo. at present i have a pioneer 5 bullet comp sub (old one) with my rockford amp. great package but it doesnt sound as sweet as it used to sound in the corrado. You could hear the lower tones better IMO. This prob because it has a metal jacket all the way round it now.

Anyhow I was thinking would a idea setup be to have like a 15" and a 10" sub? that way you get your nice low tones plus your punchy bass?

its been a while about 6-7 years i looks at bass reiews etc.

p.s i dont want it loud so everyone else can hear i prefer a musical and clear sound. as the car has already uprated factory that work perfectly i am happy but i just want to see if I can get the bass upto that level.
