Engine Lift Kits...

Post by BIG F@ TW@ »

Just doing a bit of market research. I've priced up getting some aluminium spacers made up to allow anyone driving a B5/5.5 to lift their engines by 5mm, this isn't enough to strain any pipework etc, effectively lifting the sump so it's no longer the lowest point under the front. This helps protect the sump as it's more the ARB that sits lower, very good when driving with big lows etc.

I know this as I smashed the aluminium sump on my first B5 Pashat Sport and ever since have raised all my Pashat engines.

I can provide them posted for £17.50 (small price to pay for peace off mind) per pair, but really just looking at numbers first then I might use eBay.

The spacers will look like the pictures below, please bear in mind the one in the pic was a rough example, the finished ones are laser cut and take approx 15 mins per side to fit.

So any interest, drop me a message etc.
