to a mad notion today of getting a new tv for the living room over the weekend,im not all into gadgetry but like a good picture,i see currys have a sale on a few too,sony bravia/lg/Samsung looking 47-50 inch

anyone got something they recommend?
not a phillips,thats what I have and don't like it!!
