A few hours later and with poo tools (ie a £3 adjustable spanner) i finally got the front coilovers on. They came wound all the way down so i just fitted them like that, and the weight of the car was sitting literally on its wheels!
Its down about 110mm with no rubbing (even on full lock with 2x passengers), so im well happy.
Backs are a bit of a pig to do apparently and i ran out of time, so thats another days work.
