question about the police.

just want to know what every one thinks of the police and as a career?
are they really that hated or is it just a cirtain minority?
if you knew one of your mates was joining the police would you disown them?
would you respect someone you knew if they was in a hole and going no where with their life and decided to do something about it and they got into the force?
what are your opinions about regular police, pcso's and special constables?
is it still acceptable for and officer to have a modded car aswell hahaha.
