Egr deleting is very effective, but if you have a late 2004 b5.5 tdi you're likely to get a light on your dashboard unless you get the egr written out.

What I propose to do is to get a egr blanking plate and drill an 8 mm hole in the centre, apparently this substantially reduces the exhaust gas entering the intake but not do much the light comes on.
I read positive things so will be doing this.
