I cant find the exact thread but Dub_Drummer went to the trouble of calculating how much it would cost me in the Audi to get down to the South of Spain (Torrevieja) later on this year and the figures were quite scary actually.....
He worked it out to cost circa £250 each way (1350 miles each way)....
So....with that said Ive bought an early pre-PD Golf Mk4 tp do the journey in instead...now I think these were fitted with the AFN engines werent they? It is a GT TDi so did they still fit them with the AFN engine?
Chose one of these as they are a fair size and will be good for what we need it for - the fuel economy being the key here....any idea what it is likely to cost in this car now? I imagine if it is AFN it will be 60ish mpg??
