Front assist not working

So error message this morning "front assist unavailable"
Had this after VW had changed the waterpump and they claimed it was cob web in front of the sensor. This was immediately after the repair. Anyway they got it working again and this was 2 months ago.
Anyway it's not working again. Taken the badge off and all clear behind.
Anyone had similar issues and got any thoughts?
