10L VW Adblue top us with VW connector

Hi,
Anyone added 10L of genuine VW adblue using the VW adapter hose to do this?

I bought a 10L container of VW adblue and the specified VW hose to attach the adblue container to the filler on my Passat, but it took ages to get the contents of the container into the car tank, by ages I mean 20-30 minutes.

If I had known I would have put the container on a pair of steps and gone away and left it, but it did appear to me to keep stopping while I was holding the container above the level of the filler cap.

I have looked for a video of someone doing this, but they all appear to be using the small bottles.

Has anyone else had experience of using the 10L container and the genuine VW connecting hose?

Are they all slow, slow, slow, or have I got a dud hose?

Any help would be much appreciated.
