Dubfreeze 2011 (Pic Heavy)

Dubfreeze this year has been a mixed bag with something for everyone's taste. Usually dominated by the aircooled VW's of old,this year saw a huge rise in the number of modified water pumpers (notably T5 vans). Inside two of the halls at the Stafford showground were the usual stalls full of second hand parts and other VW associated parafanalia and tools. One mans spares are another mans Gold! The third hall was for "show and shine" (use that term loosly) vehicles and represented a broad cross section of the current UK VW scene. Patina paint is still all the rage but some lovely examples of what can be achieved were also there to be viewed. Overall an enjoyable day out to get the imagination and inspiration going for 2011 and once again the weather lived up to the shows rightly given name. Hats and jackets were the order of the day but that didn't stop the hundreds of folk from turning out.
