How do I get rid of this on my window rubber?

My window seals/rubbers are badly marked. I have tried scrubbing with G101 etc, but nothing is working. I have tried using wet and dry paper on a spare set I have but it doesn't seem to work either. Can I use fine grade wire wool and then treat the rubber with silicone based oil?
