how much leather dye????

Hi. just picked up a mk3 golf mullberry leather interior for free 
in excellent condition, only thing is the mauve wont match the colour scheme of the car, i have dye a few bits in the past and was just wondering if anyone has dyed an interior before and could advice me how much dye they used (i know it will differ between cars and stuff) just after a rough guide, idont want to end up with payin out for loads and having most of it left over.
