After SRP?

Hi All,
Complete newbie on the cleaning/detailing front so apologies if this query sounds daft.

Have a 1999 Black B5 Saloon.

My intention was to use Extra Gloss Protection after I had polished with SRP, however someone mentioned to me that with dark colours, Autoglym's Ultra Deep Shine gives a better finish on top of SPR.

Now i'm confused. :???:

Can someone who knows better give me the heads up on this please?
