masking a cigarette burn

Okay

I acquired my passat dirt cheap, so was willing to overlook the cigarette burn in the passenger door. But i could really do with trying to lessen it.

tried to add an image but im reaching 'board quoata' is that a resolution issue?

anyway somebody on renaultdci.net suggested i fill with fibres scraped from the boot and try and cover with a punch of fabric. I wouldn't want to make it worse though.

unusual request but they are so unsightly.
