Well I finally got the footwell lights installed in the front and back after some strange issue, all is working fine. Even the ambience setting is working and fully dimmable from the MFD. Can you buy the modules together with the mirrors or would these parts need to be hunted for separately?

Raf, the ambient lighting from the toureg sounds good. I have read your whole post but will be revisiting some of the sections. I have noticed everyone putting in LED lighting so I could consider too but will see. Hillbilly, can you direct me to the thread? It's not the same one as in the B7 section?
