hi, i'm new to passats. i'm after some 18" audi rs4 alloys for my passat. can i use my old bolts with these or do i need to get new bolts to put these on. thanks

i would say stick to genuine parts for servicing

as per topic, RPM sits too high at idle, around 1200-1400 on my 1.9TDi. Can someone help why is that? Also its auto transmission, recently car has started to down shift or it won't change gears.

I've recently bought passat so go easy on me if these are common problems

forget the bay stuff mate, go to your local TPS dealer and get parts from there. They do genuine parts for less than dealers.

I get 46.7 MPG on motorway and around 30-35 MPG in city. Very much pleased with it cause my previous car was 1.8T GTi so you can imagine fuel difference. Planning to do glasgow/aberdeen trip this summer and guess it will be fun taking my TDi

i've read 312 thread on main page, not lot of info there about part numbers

You sure it will be alright to fit 312mm with 16" wheels, i'll be upgrading to 18s or 19s in near future. But need to sort brakes asap

Had mine since they came out and still have a play around with clocking better than any game lol. you don't need i7 for gaming, if pc is for gami...

I recently purchased 02 Passat which needs replacing brake pads and discs. At the minute, it got standard alloys, can I upgrade to 312mm with them or should I stick with 288mm?

Also need recommendation, which one to get.

I think its 130PD but I'm not sure, correct me I'm wrong. I looked around steering wheel and above pedals but couldn't find vagcom port, can u post pic of it showing exactly where it is?

as per topic, new to passat world so thought of dropping in and say hello. previously owned mk4 golf 1.8T but due to nature of work and travelling i do, it had to go. Bought 02 reg b5.5 passat 1.9tdi today. well pleased with it.will upload pics after cleaning session.
