Re: Remap advice
Can some one give me advice, where to look for remap on 110hp tdi afn engine. Thats an old shape VE pump engine not PD, so most places who is doing remaps around east Yorshire, can't do mine, because it's not possible to remap through OBD port. Also have seen remapped plug'n play ecu's on ebay for ...

Re: afn flat spot..
just an idea.....check all vac hoses for leaks or weak spots where they can collapse at certain pressures....I always change them when replacing cars, and check them every year...silicone ones off fleabay are cheap enough, and on AFN you can get to most pipes easily...

Re: PD130 Vac Leak
I NEVER trust old vac hoses...they may LOOK ok, but frayed ends, any chafing and splits are bound to be present, AND after a time they can 'collapse' under vacuum.....our 'new' estate (2000 PD130 Sport Tiptronic) seemed ok, but have just had all vac hoses replaced (had it done at local SEAT dealers ...

Door cards are easy to get off....do a search on here.....if I can do it, anyone can (and seal the bottom with clear silicon sealant to stop any possibility of leaks into the cabin)...!!!!! I had a rattle (or more of a 'buzz' sometimes)...after ages of trying everything it turned out to be the 2 hal...

Re: Faulty electrics CCM?
I had very erratic central locking problems, Pass door window stopped working from driver controls, no mirror controls and no flashing light by driver door lock pin.......and a water leak at bottom of drivers door (footwell very wet).... Was 'advised' by 'experts' and VAG that the CCM had 'had it' a...
