Re: X3 stuck in snow (woman driver)
I think the person filming it is more of an idiot. Just watching a woman struggle with her car in the snow and commentating on it. If it were me i would of gladly helped, but thats me. Imagine if it were your wife/sister/fiance and some idiot was just watching filming and taking the wee. The person ...

Re: CoD Black ops....dissapointed
I've got it on a high end gaming PC so the graphics are absolutely awesome, and the servers for PC seem to be fine, i haven't really had a problem to be fair. My friend brought it round on his PS3 the other day and i didn't have a problem with that either, the graphics weren't as good as PC but were...

Re: what MPG are you getting
Did a 100+ odd mile run from Leicester to York a few days ago and averaged 48mpg there and back, the computer said an average speed of 68mph, but thats including all the inner city traffic driving, didnt drop below 70mph on the motorway. When I do my gym/work run which is only 5-10 mile run im lucky...

Where to get a decent polisher/buffer from?
Hey all,
I'm interested in getting a hand held polishing/buffer machine. Nothing too fancy, just something that will get the job done. I want to use it for applying/removing polish and wax as it takes an absolute lifetime polishing then waxing a Passat by hand!

Re: My poor passat accident! :- (updated with working Pics)
Got me car back yesterday after work. The job was so much better than i thought they would do. I was expecting to get there and turn it down straight the way, but i couldn't find a single reason to turn it down. They re-sprayed the whole door and the quality of the spray is much better, ya cant tell...

Re: My poor passat accident! :- (updated with working Pics)
Hey all, Peugeot rang me today saying me car was done all except the bump strip as they are yet to get one delivered. I thought about leaving me car there till they sort it out but could be weeks knowing them so i decided to bite the bullet and take me car back. I went to pick it up and was absolute...

Re: My poor passat accident! :- (updated with working Pics)
I went to see how me car was doing yesterday as im abit miffed at why my insurance has chosen peugeot to repair it and i could see myself not being happy with the work. Re: My poor passat accident! :- (updated with working Pics)
Me fiance took the car to the garage today, they said it would be a week to repair. Got a pathetic 207 as a courtesy car, a 59 plate but just feels so cheap and is terrible to drive, the steering is so light its like your not steering and the clutch is way too light for my liking, need me big heavy ...

Re: best product for leather
I used to use Meguairs leather conditioner, then I read up about Gliptone and tried it. Although Meguairs is a lot more easily applied and drys a lot quicker I personally think Gliptone gives better results. I even use Gliptone on my leather sofas at home, the smell of the conditioner is beautiful, ...

Re: My poor passat accident! :- (updated with working Pics)
My insurance company said for me to take my car to one of their approved garages to get a valuation of the damage, they offered 2 garages, one literally 5 minutes from my house (the local Peugeot dealer) and one bout 30 mile away in Northampton, so obviously i chose the strange Peugeot option. I don...

Re: 3rd gear loss of power
I had exactly the same problems a few weeks ago, someone said it could be the hoses for the turbo but i checked them all and couldn't find anything abnormal. Then someone said it could be sticking VNT vanes in the turbocharger, so I ran some diesel additive/cleaner through and haven't had a single b...

Re: 2005 B5.5 Highline 1.9 TDI130 - Wouldnt rev above 2000 rpm
I've just been halfords and bought some of that Millers Eco-Max diesel additive, apparently it has upto 10 tank fulls of use if you fill at around 50 litres but I always brim my tank when I fill up so I added around 70ml. I'll probably go on a long run this weekend and see how it goes, hopefully wit...

Re: 2005 B5.5 Highline 1.9 TDI130 - Wouldnt rev above 2000 rpm
I took the engine cover and air box cover off today and checked every hose I could see. None of them seemed loose, split or damaged. There was one of the air pipes that had a little play, its the one behind the near side headlight approx 3" diameter. It had quite a bit of movement around the cl...

2005 B5.5 Highline 1.9 TDI130 - Wouldnt rev above 2000 rpm
Hey all, Today I was driving my passat from Leicester to Great Yarmouth for a day trip (approx 140 mile, 3 hour drive). I was 10 mile away from Yarmouth on a dual carriage way and all of a sudden the passat wouldn't rev over 2000rpm. I was struggling to get it to go over 30mph after a roundabout so ...
