Thanks for the info on B5 FWD models. Didn't realise they did a general Tdi with fwd. As to the big engined 4 Motion monsters, while they would be a hoot to drive,I would loose my license in on of those.

Thank you for showing me your very well looked after b5 which is the model I would be after but it would have to be the saloon. Also I'm incredibly greedy and am holding out for an under 70k model which I know is a tall order but it will be worth the wait when I find it.

Currently running a 2ltr petrol bought with 54k on and car is faultless but a bit underpowered so will be moving onto a 130 Tdi and ideally the sport one which I believe had 4 wheel drive.

Has anyone had experince of this model and any buying advice would be appreciated.
