Have fitted LED headlights and wanted to know if you’re meant to leave the bulb cover off the back of the headlight unit, so the heat can dissipate properly from the metal vanes?

Or is it ok to the cover back on?

I have a Highline + Estate that I want to drop about 40mm.

Thinking of 40mm H&R springs but wondering if the original shocks will be ok, as they be compressed more than usual?
