Drive shaft wobble
My left side drive shaft has a wobble when the wheels are rotating. It appears to be out of phase (bent) i can feel the wobble when driving on light throttle and under load. I see what you mean DMitch16, Will be looking at the subframe as thats the only thing left to check. However the full alignment is correct all in the green to car specs inc toe,camber,caster & total toe. Maybe as i drive the subframe is moving slightly causing the toe angles to be off. I might n...

Hi DMitch16 Yes i do have a clunk at times when slowly cornering, especially when braking and turning. You might be on to something here regarding the subframe, however the car has not been damaged or invloved in any accident. It might be wear & tear in the subframe bushes. I will defo be checki...

I highly appreciate your input guys. I also had a bmw that did the same thing. Changed many parts & in the end i sold it for peanuts. Never found the problem. Iv had this b6 for 4 years and been brilliant apart from this handling issue appearing now. Its had a full allignment on the hunter machi...

wheel bearing & front tyres replaced today.
Have pretty much changed everything now apart from the wishbone arm. Allignment rechecked with door jam tyre pressures.
And result : Its the bloody same.
