I don't think vcds for £40 will be genuine. I've a Bluetooth elm 327 reader that works with apps like torque or carista and will read some codes.

Any pictures of the clocks?

I've used carista to turn on a few things such as fog lights as coming/leaving home rather than main beam which is less offensive when locking/unlocking the car.

When do postcodes cover more than one Street? As above when you go to enter town click on the bottom to change your postcode.

I've got them on my estate. The rubber strip is all chewed up from carrying Canoes on the roof. Really thin at the edges and very poor quality for what's supposed to be premium

If it's on finance you can reject a car. It's a long process but good to know as a last resort.

Try a different VW dealer if possible or getting on to head office if your dealer is being difficult

Guessing this isn't a one off as I'd suggest dpf. Could be the temperature, does it drop when the cars been run for a bit? Likely within VW tolerance but I'd keep pushing that it's not right.

God I hate noise. Mine has a rattle. They've suggested seat belt tensioner but can't find the rattle to fix it.

Anyone using carista with a B8 Passat? I think I've managed to turn off cornering lights but can't find the option to turn it back on. In fact lights only has one option that won't work. Not a great deal of help but there's normally an emergency release from inside. Should be in the manual how to access it. Is it possible something has got caught in the mechanism?

Me, me well kind of. Got a Passat and sometimes use Waze on android auto. Need to get into the routine of having it on to be honest as it's useful for traffic updates.
