Re: Handbrake holding on
Hi Shane,
Thanks for the reply that’s what I’d found too mainly that they fail and that’s it, nothing in between, I might give the switch a swap and see if it cures the fault.
Is there a way to test the switch off the car? I understand it’s electronic so maybe not possible

Handbrake holding on
As above really I have an intermittent fault where by when pulling away on either a hill or flat the handbrake stays on and the car squats down, at first I though I was in wrong gear but it has happened a few times since. Taking it out of gear and trying again seems to do the trick, As said this is ...

I’ve only had the car a year and it had the recall for injectors done 6-7 years ago and I’ve just had to replace another so the do fail again, my car is on 91k. But I might just be unlucky. In Effect mine has had 3 injectors in one of the cylinder

Re: Passat 170ps 2.0 tdi
I have this model and the inlet manifold is another problem area, I’ve needed new springs all round, rear calliper, an injector as well as a timing belt and service etc. Not been a cheap year.

Car window shades
Hi guys my car is factory tinted but looking for something more to keep the back cooler.
Does anyone know of a supplier for only the rear door shades as the dogs are in the boot and would rip them down.
I’m lookin for the exact fitting shades and do you guys know if they are crash tested?
Ben

My engine light has came on for the first time since it was serviced approximately 12000 miles ago, it's currently on the long life service regime which I'm going to change when the next service isn't due. Firstly is that amount of mileage normal before needing a top up? Also is it best to get the o...

Hey guys fitted my new detachable towbar today, I have one problem where the cut-out hatch doesn't seem to fit fully flush on the shorter edges, I think because the bumper is curved and the cut out is flat.
