Re: Front Bumper Removal
Oh right! Gonna have to get a good daylight look then!
Dont consider this a mod, the standard lights are so poor and as the new ones are projector type I'm hoping its an improvement.
Will take pics over the weekend mate.

Re: Front Bumper Removal
Couldnt see one on the side. Also in the instructions for the new headlights it said remove bumper and there is some kind of beam adjuster that I think is underneath the new headlights. Its the Ultra drl set of headlights/indicator combined. Replacing mine because I feel they are very poor. So BackT...

Re: Front Bumper Removal
I have 4 screws (torx) in wheelarch. 3 on the flat and one that goes up into the end of the wing. I removed all of those! I have tried pulling forward! With great force! (I aint no 10 stone weakling!) I tried pulling, pushing and even hitting the bumper from the wheel arch! All to no avail. It will ...

Front Bumper Removal
Need to take bumper off to fit new headlights. Tried on Sunday but hit a problem! Undid everything and got to the stage of pulling it off, but no chance! Wouldnt budge a millimetre! Looks /feels as if its held on at the sides. I pulled out or rather released all clips I could see but still nothing. ...

Re: b5.5 grill,bumper,headlights removal,led drl fitting
The problem is definitely on the sides!
The bottom is totally free and the top and front.
The sides wont pull out or forward. I nearly broke the side of the bumper trying to pull it!

Well I tried toady and bumper wont come off! Followed this write up and photos and had a Haynes with me but to no avail. Undone all the screws as stated but bumper wont budge! From what I can see in between bumper and wheelarch covers there seems to be a metal plate with a hex head bolt fixed up int...

Re: safe engine flush to use?
I would recommend the use of Slick 50.
certain it saved my Pug engine when all water drained away once.

Never used engine flush on any of my cars! Thats over 30 years of experience.
Just let it drain for a good while, then refill.
