I thought auto rec be cool if it would work

So we all know what the icons are on the display but what the hell is the rec air symbol with a A for as it never works and VW dealer didn't even know it was there(its next to the windscreen icon to the left of it)

They are definitely 8.5x18 at moment they have on them 245*40*18 tyres on them, most info I can find rates them to have 225 or 235 which no one place gives right answer. Pcd is correct and bolt seats are the same, bore is 66.5. will upload photos in. A bit Thanks again guys for your help as in past ...

Load rating for them is 690kg where as road americas are 605kg

Cheers for the replies the wheels are OEM(8k0 601 025 0) from a Audi a5 5spoke s-lines, on front they centre bore is bigger than the hub, so will need a ring I guess.it has got coil overs on but not lowered much at all.only by about 35mm which I understand is sort of standard for a sport.

So if I go for a spacer would 20mm be right tried one on front and it rubs but if I space it with a 20 then that would then make it et27 at a guess

Right guys its been done to death but have spent hours digging and can't find a correct answer, I've got hold of some a5 5spoke alloys 8.5jx18 et47 with 245/40/18 tyres on..... so question is to get them to fit I need spigot rings, and spacers at a guess 10mm or can I go to 15-20mm.

Anyone round Cornwall do key coding cheap, dad has a golf mk5 and think 159 for a key doing is a ripoff.

Ya both got new batterys in one works ok one has never worked, tried the way of.
Key in ignition Unicode key in door lock but think the method is wrong what is the correct way.

Right I've hunted high and low for the correct way and can't get it to work my second key won't lock or unlock on remote what it the right way to link it to the car.

Cheers for the guide might give it a go as I miss my gauges, on the old audis never really looked at warnings on mfa,as with the gauges as long as it was running at correct bar and battery was high then it was running fine.

Think so, main fitting questions are as they are electronic, I've got the gauge end of loom but which other bits will I need, or is there a easy fit for them.

just noticed you have audi aux gauges in how did you go about fitting them did you use the full loom, or did you u do it your self. ive got them off my old 90 20v and was going to see if they fitted.... now I know they fit perfect,whats easy way to do it
