Re: Sub Install - B5.5 Estate

Presumably you need one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160341399326 I got one for the Delta\MFD in mine and it works a treat - front and rear out on twin RCAs and a switched live for the amp switched power.. Replaces the yellow blanking piece on the block of 3 conn...

Re: fog lights

It's probably illegal to not be able to switch them off without switching off all your other lights and the Police certainly don't take too kindly to it.. Might as well buy the switch with the front fog position and wire it to that if you're going to bother going to the trouble of wiring them in at ...

Re: lamborghini gallardo correction detail

So the question is - how much did this cost to do? I suppose once you've got all your products you can do a couple of cars but the time taken must be considerable? I'd love to get the swirl marks out of my car but I reckon that I'd end up spending a fortune on the products, only to find I didn't man...

Re: Want to use up what space may be available behind the dash

This thread is actually much better if you don't bother reading Artscot79's posts  Seriously mate - punctuation, sentences and paragraphs are your friends! I just can't be bothered to read through 20 lines of text that all look the same, it's too much like hard work! Even if you don't use full...

Re: 2 Weeks of Passat ownership and.................

Went out in mine the other week - weather like it is now - and was following a mate in his Golf Mk5 (same as what I owned before). Followed him into a roundabout thinking nothing of it and the car decided to go straight on, mounting the kerb, taking a chunk out of the tyre and damaging the wheel qui...

Didn't see you this morning but as you say, it's quite a small window of opportunity! And if you're in stealth mode, you're more likely to catch a glimpse of me wearing shorts and a bright orange t-shirt than I am to catch a glimpse of you!

Just seen a Bentley Continental Flying Spur on Fifth Gear do a 13.4 (I think) at just a touch over 100mph at the Pod - made me laugh that a Passat could pretty much keep up with it

White B5 Estate - Clacket Lane

White B5 estate travelling swiftly on the M25 just after Clacket Lane services at about 13:30 today - I wouldn't put up a 'spot' unless I'd noticed that your engine undertray is loose ;)

I didn't spot who was driving but I didn't assume it was you! Shame I didn't see the R36 (I showed a couple of guys in the office the pictures you put up) but I work away a lot and I'm not very often in the Ashford office and even if I am, I'll generally go on the motorbike 'cos it's cheaper  ...

Robs W8 (Again!)

Eurogate Business Park in Ashford, going into the KCC underground parking - I work in unit 2 across the road!

Saw the motor out of the corner of my eye and heard the burble as it went past - made me smile a bit!

I think I'll store up my 'spots' of your car and post them all together in the future ;)

Yeah, live up around that area. You have had a rare sighting. I travel 1 mile to work, and 2 miles to the gym. Thats my weekly journeys! Get on yer bike  I have some very similar journeys - 15 minute walk to work and 10 minutes to the shops - the car hardly ever leaves the driveway!

Re: Comfort-Turn" upgrade kit "

Got this kit fitted in mine, got it from eBay but added up all the parts and asked my local dealer and it came to more.. I've had 2 problems with it - firstly, it doesn't fit that well down the side of the MFD unit because the wires aren't that long and it piggybacks on the hazard warning switch, so...

I'd say the Octavia is based on the Golf / Bora platform, as the engine is transverse.
Isn't the Superb a Passat\A4\A6?
