what oil can any body recommend for a Passat 5 speed gearbox its a 53 plate I just tried german & Swedish the oil they have is cheap oil I recon it is not fuchs or castrol it costs £5 per litre too cheap I think.

I had these fitted to both sides, then the newest one failed so I replaced with one from German and Swedish due to its thickness I would say it was hollow ( which apparently is the best type original are hollow ) although twice the price of the j+r so I have one expensive one and one cheaper one so ...

did you ever sort this? mine started to work normally a few weeks ago but now will not go into 5 gear at all, I am going to get the car over the pit because I am sure something will not let the gearbox go into 5 gear and I`m sure it is something stopping the gearbox going into 5 gear

hi anybody know where I can buy the small "surround" that goes in the door and that the lock pin comes up through, and it is a rear that I need it actually mounts to the door card

does anyone know where to buy the plastic inner and outer rivet that holds the rear window in place? they go through the bottom of the window to locate the window , or am I going to have to go to the stealers?

I have tried allsorts of things to get this to line up, there is a plastic mount screwed to the front of the wing with two "clips" which would seem to be intended to clip into the bumper, do you have to take the bumper off to get this to line up there doesn't seem to be enough room to get ...

I hate to be a pain but do you have to remove the front bumper to facilitate removal /fitting of a front wing? I just want to make sure I have everything sorted before I start , thanks
