AWX 1.9 PD130 Tensioner Stud Issue

Laugh if you want, but im a mechanic and i know what an over tightened nut or stud feels like. I did it at 20Nm and then lightl...

Re: Lack of power? Possible Air Mass Meter?
I found that the Turbo wasn't getting a vacuum to suck the actuator rod. The valve that provides the vacuum was knackered.

Lack of power? Possible Air Mass Meter?
Hey People Im driving a 54 plate 1.9TDi 130 BHP VW Passat Highline. Till around 2 days ago it drove strong and quick but now there is no power there at all. The engine is in great shape, no smoking or water loss or anything like that, no light being thrown up on the dash and weirdly no trouble codes...

Re: Which Passat?
Wow guys, I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the amount of replies I got back from my question. I knew that going down the Passat route was going to be a good one, after all, they are everywhere where I live in the north east so the vast majority cant be wrong. Im currently looking on Ebay a...

Im 24 and need a new run around/project to fiddle with. Im currently thinking that a B5 1.9TDI would be great but I dont know alot about t...
