I picked up a set of...

B5 & B5.5 suspension

Do any of the B5 saloon and estate and B5.5 saloon and estate have the same suspension?
i.e would coilovers on a 5.5 estate fit the 5.5 saloon?
would coilovers on a 5.5 estate fit a 5 estate etc?

Thanks

I really like the roof spoiler, where did you buy it?

I looked into it briefly but all the one`s I saw looked cheap and nasty

Re: window tinting, diy styleeeee

As its a work`s car the quality of the tint does`nt need to be amazing? Cheap tint will look purple after a year or two Lumar is pretty much the best on the market, not sure how you would get hold of it though as you can`t buy it from shops. Check eBay or your local car accessory shop. There is a gu...

Re: genuine wheels vs repro wheels

Yes its the quality of the alloy that you`re paying for. Replicas won`t be as strong, could buckle easier if you went down a pothole. I had a set of A8 replicas about 3/4 years ago, they were fine. Before them I had a set of genuine Audi Cabriolet 17`s, I sold them to a guy on eBay. He said he was b...

Re: HOW LOW CAN I GO?

Have any of you boys in the 60mm+ region checked the allignment/tracking now you`ve been slammed and have big alloys? I dropped my previous car (Audi A4) 100mm and because of that it could`nt be alligned properly. This led to uneven tyre wear. The next owner soon bought new 18` tyres as they were pe...

Re: coilovers

Best i.e absolute best on the market or best for the money? If you don`t want to spend silly money have a look in the group buy section. I bought a set for my 51 plate estate and I can`t fault them. Alot of us on the site have bought them and as far as I know everybody is perfectly happy with the ki...

Soak heavily 'outside' of glass to be tinted with soapy water Put tint on glass and cut to size, overcut slightly to allow for errors Soak inside of glass and then separate tint, put on window You have to make sure the tint and glass are always wet so you can move it around to the position you want....

As above, buy coilovers and you can`t go wrong. Just keep adjusting until you are happy. If you buy lowering springs you always run the risk of not being happy with the end result. Contact Phil J in the coilover group buy section!

I keep a microfibre cloth in the car and give any rain water a quick wipe over. If you have marks try some multi purpose cleaner on a microfibre cloth, anywhere like Tesco`s etc. sell both items in the cleaning section Ever considered those plastic shields that go on the edge of the window so you ca...
