Just swapped the blower motor for a 2nd hand one

our 2003 B5.5 Sport Estate has just last night started having the same alarm woes
Have had to disconnect the battery and manually lock the car so the neighbours don't complain
Will try latches lubrication solution and see if this cures it [hopefully!]

used some Wynns Decarboniser spray
changed the fuel filter
used some Liqui Moly Diesel Purge
changed the oil / oil filter
cleaned up the EGR
replaced the boost pipe seals
defaced the VIN plate
booked in for another test at another garage on Wednesday

Fuse 31 15A controls cruise and reversing lights , even though you might not have cruise the software is there hense retrofitting , obviously controls some fueling . Reversing lights isn't tested on a sub 2009 car . So going forward cheaply at your disposal boost leaks and turbo exhaust seal aside ...

busted a number of drills trying it drill it out !
bolted the hub on using 4 of the 5 bolts for now

if you use some threaded bar to make your own supports for the front pulling out you end up with enough space

I would normally go OEM for such a part
But with COVID-19 Lock Down the local dealerships are all closed
Looked on FLeaBay
All I can seem to find are the similar bolts for a later B6
Would those B6 bolts fit perhaps?
