If it has C at the end , it cannot be Q revision . Stay away . You do not need exactly Q , but minimum E . So any gateway : E, M, N ,Q etc will do the job. :-bd Would this one be ok? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261336588008?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Do i disconnect my bat...

Glad to hear it mate.
It makes my blood boil when things like that happen.
You work to get a nice car and some tw*t ruins it.
All the best with the DSG fella.

I like to look at it as a glass half full. These forums will always show the more negative as people join them because of a problem. How many passats were sold over the world and how many had issues. Don't get me wrong VW's aren't what they used to be but every manufacturer have their share o...

Easy ladies.
It was only a question.
I've had a good read of a few threads and it seems bar full enough.
With older diesels you could run them on vegetable oil!

When i turn on the ignition a DPF light does not come on.
I guess i'm lucky not to have it.
I don't do long journeys so no near of it blocking it up.
Look like i'm gonna get me some 2T to try.

DPF?
How do I know if my car has one?
It's a 56 plate 2.0tdi 140bhp
I'm told it's the older engine with the injector issues.
They were replaced under recall in 2012.
I've been reading the thread about 2t oil and I didn't want to do it if it was going to cause me problems.
Thanks
Dan

I think I might have to give this a go.
I'm pretty sure my car doesn't have a dpf so i should be ok?
If it does can I still do it or not?

Re: Heater flap actuator failure
I needed to demist my screen last night and was annoyed that my heater control flap was not working. So I had a spare 30mins and decided to have a go. I removed the bottom steering cowl. To do this you have to lower the steering column and gently pry the top section away. Then unscrew 1 underneath t...

Audi gear knob on B6?
As the title says, is this possible.
It's from an 09 vehicle.
Looking at a few you tube videos it should be fairly straight forward.

I'm in the same boat. Thought I'd have a little nose and check my can bus no. As suspected it is Version C. I'll have to get an updated one when I get my rns. Now I can't get the Bowden cable back in place. I've left it out for now as I don't have the patience. Plus it'll come out again soon when I ...

Yep def 17"
Im prett y sure the golf had a pcd of 5 x 100 as opposed to the passat with 5 x 112 you might have to get some adapters?
Not sure about the pcd though.
Just checked this site.
http://www.wheelfitment.eu/car/Volkswagen/
The golf pcd is 38 and the passat 45.
Hop you get it sorted.
