I was driving my car tonight and it was as if there was no power when i put my foot down (1.8T B5) It was about 3500rpm in 4th gear then i started to check the other gears at different rev ranges, 1st, 2nd were fine, 3rd was ok low revs but once i got to higher revs when i was expecting the turbo to...

Does anyone around the north east area have vag com they could use on my 99 1.8T?
Ive searched the forum for vag com users with no luck! Am i being stupid as im sure there was a list of people.

Anyway as above dont mind meeting somewhere or a bit travelling but would be very grateful

The green looks very good!! im trying to avoid colours already used, i doubt i would have chosen mint and pink tho, although i aint seen it yet but i bet its intresting.

As above, im going to paint mine but was wondering what different colours people had done there engine covers or designs

Well my green B5 turbo has gone..... But i just got this today, its totally standard, i aint got any major plans just yet but that could change, ive put a new cd player in today aswell and ive go a boost gauge to put in once i get some time, ill hopefully keep you all posted on the changes i make ht...

The connection were you plug your laptop into your car to read faults?
My mate has the Vag software and leads etc to read the faults but i dont know were to connect it too?

Its a B5 97 1.820vT

whats the best afermarket dumpvalve to buy that isnt going to cost me an arm and a leg?

ive got a B5 1.8T When im changing gear the dump valve makes its normal woosh sound but sometimes as im putting the throttle down for that split second my dump valve makes the woosh sound again, but the woosh is constant untill it kicks in and the car seems abit hesitant and doesnt want to accelerat...
