Yes it has something to do with the clutch, its connected to the master cylinder...

This strange little box is located near the mastercylinder behind the clutchpedal on my touran 2.0tdi 04 but i cant figure out what it is.
I have shown it to a vw shop but they didnt know either, please what is it and what does it do?

Hi, please let me know if you find the problem, i have exactly the same with mine exept i havnt changed the clutch.
