Its only the speedo and rev needle, everything else on panel is fine.

Is there a known fault with the instrument panel regarding flashing?

The speedo and rev counter needle light have started intermittently flashing on mine, usually for the first 15 - 20 minutes then there fine, but sometimes will continue to flicker all the time.

Worsted of it is I was in full view of CCTV camera, Wife keeps watching it and wetting herself.

Finaly got round to looking at the seat yesterday, the lumber knob is a push fit, pulled mine off in tact, flew back onto my bum on gravel drive, hit my head on aircon unit and lost knob in flower bed :hyst Dislodged several bits of gravel from boxers found knob and applied plaster to left elbow. If carbon filters remove NOX why don't we have filters on exhausts?

Hi, I need to replace the drivers seat back on my Passat. I have a new one (ebay) but cant work out how to remove the lumber wheel or the back adjuster wheel, can any one help please?

I'm glad you said that as looking at how you remove it I would need a special tool Will keep the new one in a safe place (never to be seen again) for future use.

Can I confirm that the expansion valve is located in the pipe joint on the bulkhead?

Dose anyone know the size of O ring used in a passat? I'm about to replace the compressor, dryer and bypass valve but don't want to start the work without having them, also where is the best place to get them from?

Hi,

Should the electric cooling fan come on when the air con is working or it is just for engine cooling? I ask because I don't think I have ever seen or heard it cut in and when the AC is on but the car is idling the output is not as good as when the car is moving.
