Funny you mention Mondeos - the reason I was worrying about getting the discs off was because of my experience with the MK1 Mondeo front discs.

Just got some Pagid discs + pads for £63 from ECP.

Still slighlty concerned about using a lump hammer to get the old discs off - how much welly before the wheel bearings quit

I had an advisory at last years MOT on rear disc corrosion and low pads, I think it’s time replace them… Just looking for any advice on the job, any particularly difficult or nasty aspects I should know about – I have had problems on other cars getting discs off the hub :sad: Car is a 2005 B5....
