RNS 510 aside, anyone know how to get the OEM bluetooth voice dialing to work? I activated the steering wheel button and voice active in the module but still won't work.. As far as i know the BT module i have does support it.

Just tried it on my 2013 Passat, the LED's turn off completely when indicating

I saw a 2014 superb with xenons and LED running lights, when he indicated they went off. They dim alright for the halogen ones but seems they don't with LED's.

It's not that they're small it's just the 170 has more airflow, it looks beefier side by side. The 140 is a KKK and the 170 is a Garrett. You need to get the oil lines because the oil ports on the 170 turbo are in a different position.

Your engine should be CFFB. The turbo you need will either be off a CFGB(170) or a CFGC ( 177)
The part number i fitted was 03L 253 010 F

If it's a B7 140 there is very little difference between a 140 and 170. The turbo is the only real difference. The 170 turbo will bolt right up as long as you have the oil lines too. I got mine cheap slightly used off ebay. My 140 has a nice genuine 200bhp.

I'd be surprised an AGM battery gone at 2.5 years. They are stronger and last longer. May i ask where in Vagcom do you get the battery info? Condition and aging?

When the engine is idling the turbo is a little louder, it's like you can here a faint dentist drill in the background as it's spinning.

The innards of my DPF were removed and then welded back up. Sounds no different really. You wouldn't know it was even done.

I did. Gives a nice geniune 200bhp on a dynodynamics dyno. Peaks at 4000rpm and holds until nearly 4700 rpm before starting to tail off. Peak torque is at 330lb ft. Could do with lowering because it causes a little flywheel rumble at 2k when floored in higher gears but no clutch slip as yet. The 170...

Off Ebay, it came from a low mileage( 6k) 2011 Audi A3 170.

Personally I wouldn't buy a new Passat as a private purchase. Historically so many of them go to fleets, that residuals take a massive hit. There could be more ABS units that are not listed that still have it especially with later revisions. It's worth checking if you have VAGCOM. If you have XDS it will let you change the value. I think the channel 36 settings maybe for the Golf and others. I think the Passat can only be set in channel...
