I'm Baa-aaack
Hey everyone. Was on here about a year ago with my B3 2.0GL estate in red, lowered 110 mm on coilies with azev A's, and before that my 16v B3 estate in black (also lowered on azev a's - those wheels look awesome on b3 estates!) http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n177/lewiswilkinson/P1040036.jpg http...

Re: Is anyone else at work?
I'm in work today
I am a 'lazy-bum' uni student, so have some weeks off for easter but work saturday and sunday as Weekend Supervisor at Holland&Barretts to live, and quite a lot of overtime this easter... Therefore, i reckon i can shirk the 'lazy-bum' bit and just be a student?

Wierd clunking from the steering - b3 passat
As above.. Only noticeable when stationary or moving at slow speeds, about a half turn either way from straight and there is an audible (quite loud infact) 'clunk' - sounds slightly like somone dropping a bean can on a floor. Can feel it to allthough only mildly. Just a bit concerning as MOT time in...

Bloody immobiliser!!
Walked out to the passat after uni, blibbed my blibber thing to unlock le passat and nothing happened. The light came on on the blibber but *nothing* from the car. Thought - meh, i'll just use the key, used the key, opened the door and all hell breaks loose. Headlights and hazards flashing, the most...

Re: Project Blue Rinse - B4 Saloon 1.9td
Thanks for the comments guys! Well it does not drive as nice on these wheels as I think it has enhanced a front wheel bearing/driveshaft/gearbox problem. Getting second thoughts about all this now, might just flog it and get a 2ltr petrol estate  Oooh, harsh. I have a 2ltr estate (8v, MPI) an...

Re: Coilies On - Front!!
Haha its stiff, but not too boucy. Top nuts i got a 21mm (14mmtop) spark plug socket - ie with a hole through it to get an allen key through it, and grooved at the top to get a spanner on it) and voila, top mounts were off in about 10 minutes top! Was the other bolts at the bottom that were stiff. I...

Coilies On - Front!!
Im SO happy, it looks SO good. Anyway: YAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaay A few hours later and with poo tools (ie a £3 adjustable spanner) i finally got the front coilovers on. They came wound all the way down so i just fitted them like that, and the weight of the car was sitting literally on its wheels! Its d...

Coilover Fitting! Hellllp please.

I had some azev a's on my olf GT16v estate. They were 16x8, et 25, lowered 80mm and a still had 5mm spacers on to get them to fill the arches!!

I got pulled over...
By a taxi driver in his octi 1900TDi.. He kept flashing me (haha not that type) so i eventually pulled over in town and he pulled up next to me and said - "mate, youve got a flat...Oh, theyre just really low profile.." - referreing to my tyres on the azev's. Theyre 205/40/16 on a 16x7.5 so...
