yeah, youve not got much ground to stand on TBH, unless you can prove that the damage was done whilst the car was the responsibility of the garage. Have to see the point, otherwise everyone would be claiming the garages had done 'X' to their car.

Nice day today, so i set about doing some more on the grille. Sanded and filled, sanded and filled, and sanded its *nearly* done. Primered it all quickly and it showed up where its not smooth, so ive gotta do some more sanding, but the end is in sight :) Yay: http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n177/...

yours is looking good shaggy.

Ive not got my alloys till monday, so i might wait till then.

Apparently 1.5 degrees is a noticeable difference, but as there is no drive to the rear wheels it has little/no effect on handling or tyre wear. Will take photos for you :)

Camber Shims...

Bought some camber shims for the rear of my MK2 golf which i owned '2 cars ago'. Thought i would get about fitting them on the 'Ssat, and joy they are compatible as they bolt behind the wheel assembly in an almost wedge shape. I'm only going 1.5degrees, so nothing massive. Couple of questions - - Is...

do it topgear style and shoot the floor with a shotgun? Drill a hole? IDK about passats, but on the mk2 golfs there a drainage holes in the front wings that get filled up with poo. When these clog the water flows along the car and into the rear footwells. Might be the same? Right near the windscreen...
