ok quick update tried to connect vag com but having issues with that so gave up i put a new 30amp fuse in and while just having the ignition on the fan works fine i can change the fan speed and heat control also the direction of air flow and its fine i started the car and on tick over everything wor...

but switch it off and then start it again and the fuse pops

but have noticed even though the fan does not work when he cars moving you can change the heat from cold to hot and back again and you feel the air change temp so not sure anythings stuck.
also can change what direction the air flows
so just the fan stops

my heater fan keeps blowing fuses it happened after the hot spell when he bad rain appered i put the fan on to demist the window i put the fan on and as i touched the fan speed button for the second time i heard the fuse pop then the fan stopped i swapped the 30amp fuse from the heated seats and it ...

had fun on sunday had to get a rear tyre fitted 215/35-18 on a 10j rim the tyre fitter fitted it ok but could not ge the beads to seal so on the tyre machine it went and he sprayed carb cleaner in the tyre and go his lighter out bang went the fumes and it didnt seal so he tried to blow out the flame...

mines a 1.8 20v turbo pipercross panel filter and full decated stainless system if i fill up i get 320 miles till i get to the bottom of the red i recon about £120 a month so £30 a week the first half seams to last longer than the last half but i put that down to the pipe from the tank to the fill...
