Re: brake fluid change ?

It's not hard to bleed brakes to replace old fluid. I bought a one man bleed kit, which consists of a one way valve to go on the bleed nipple. Re: Particulate filter

Hi all: been havin' similar prob with my 06/BKP - tried cleanin' turbo etc (which cured prob for about 6 weeks) but when it went into dealers (Sinclair, Bridgend) last year, for brake-fluid replacement they noticed a vac pipe was split. They replaced it (for a tenner) & all was well for about t...

Brake fluid is hydroscopic which means it absorbs moisture hence why it needs changing every 2 years

Re: brake fluid change ?

Listen to vw , it should be done every two years , I think what he is on about is if you bleed it the old way of pumping the pedal you push the piston in the master cylinder through its normal running position and can damage the lip seal causing the master cylinder to fail , but most garages use po...

Re: non starter again

sounds like the starter is kaput if the battery voltage is good and there is a loud click (starter solenoid engaging) then its more than likely the starter itself like suggested check voltage supply when its not starting but the fact there is a click is indication enough that voltage is getting to t...

Re: VCDS torsion value = syncro angle?

measured valve block 4 field 4 is the tersion/syncro value

as stated it needs to be as close to 0 as poss, ideally 0 when the engine is upto normal operating temperature

Re: offside indicator staying on?

isnt it front and rear "side" lights that stay on as parking lights and not indicator lights?

when you use the indicators normally does the indicator flash as normal or stay on constant?

sounds like a poss relay fault
