Re: What other cars do we drive?

Bring back the pinto's!! ;) The bmw is my old daily I had whilst I was messing around with the passat, I re...

Re: who's running FK's or Joms??
its no race car but it handles well considering its oem past, and comparing it to other similar sized saloons. In my opinion the joms are good value for money and hold up well, as-long as you don't need to adjust them all to often you'll be fine! If extreme lowness and height adjustability is not an...

Re: who's running FK's or Joms??
I've had joms on my car for the best part of 8 months, firstly I slammed the car to the ground where it was a bit hit and miss.. but I raised the fronts towards the end of summer 2013, I'd say the car is lowered between 80-90mm all round, Its hunkered down on some 18/35/215 falken fk452's I can hone...

I've been offline for a while now due to being halfway through a full resto on another car! I was meant to be getting it done for summer this year but now that looks less likely so the passat will maybe tag along to some shows instead!! cards on the table so far.. DIY wrap! gotta be matte but haven'...

K03-029 boost issue

Re: What else do you drive?
i love them too mate! and so much more simple and fun to work on compared to my 1.8t!
once its finished its either save up and build an s52 lump for it or go all out on the b5, forged internals, and a gt3071 haha

Re: What else do you drive?
Been off the passat scene for a few months now, still daily my b5 but been building my dream e30.. Originally the 316i was my cheap run around whilst i built my "speedy" 1.8t passat, but after getting the passat to a satisfactory level I decided i didn't need a cheap daily and the roles we...

after a little break from tinkering with the b5 to get my other project started i'm back on it, with an upcoming mot I've found a few little things here and there I'm going to do :) the rad hoses i've found have always been poo on my passats and the retaining clips always seem to perish away real qu...

Re: 1.8t remap recommendations?
I've got a k03-029, I've changed the manifold already mate. But the high flow replacement is a lot chunkier which restricts access to the nuts.

Re: 1.8t remap recommendations?
There is 100% no way the manifold can be fitted with turbo in place.. Because of its larger size the nuts underneath and a few on top are completely inaccessible with a socket (the ones I own atleast). The reason I didn't fit it before was because I bolted the turbo up before hand and could not get ...
