Re: 19s....shall I ...

Karl reckons 17`s are the best compromise between looks & performance (& he knows a thing or two), I noticed a big drop in performance after fitting 18`s & TBO I`m seriously considering fitting my original suspension back on, how the underside of my block hasn`t been ripped off by now is...

Re: orange coolant

if I could be bothered to flush my system I`d refill with a waterless coolent, jay Leno says he`s converted every car he owns to waterless, if it`s good enough for Jay, and the big guy in W`Dealers recently converted a car, these guys know what they`re talking about!

Re: Lowering springs or coils?

FWIW I drove fast through a deep dip in the road the other day & the rear suspension bottomed out with one hell of a crash, I wouldn`t recommend any lower than than 40mm, just a thought!

I stopped drinking larger years ago. I discovered its generally dreadful stuff and gives you terrible hangovers! I mostly drink real ale now when I go out (which is rare these days) I do like a decent beer though. I would recommend Real ale - Trappers Hat Beer - Staropramen totally agree ...

Re: How to stop water jets freezing?

Not what I found. My experience was tepid or cold water could be frozen again by the time I'd been round the car. 50-60 deg melted off the frost and warmed the glass enough to allow most to bead and run off, and the wipers to do the rest on the front screen without making a thin film which immediate...

Re: New clutch needed after remap :/

when my clutch chucked it, it would only slip if I accelerated hard so, being skint at the time, I drove mine for about 8 months `carefully` before I could afford a new one. down side, overtaking was a no no, couldn`t tow anything (the reason I bought a `sat in the 1st place!) sometimes it would sli...

surprised your clutch chucked it at that mileage, (clocked anyone??) but, regardless, if my experience is anything to go by, budget for a grand for a new one, unless you`re capable of fitting it yourself?

Nissan 350z bottled it at 132mph, probably felt his licence was worth more than the kudos of wasting a Passat wagon (which he easily could have) shocked a Scooby (why do they always have oversized mudflaps?) up to a ton. 5 series BM, got the jump on him and he`d to go well over a ton to get past. a ...
