Pinch bolt out and replaced £2 fix

but in the garage, they advised top arms and lower to change, 280 all in inc tracking

I could of tried to replace myself but would be worried the top arms would pop out

I'll get it into garage tomorrow all been well

Hi chaps Had a knocking noise come from passenger front wheel and took the wheel off and checked everything and couldn't see anything but checked the pinch bolt for top two arms and surprised was a little loose so got the ratchet out and tightened it up and nobby here snapped the bolt :( So am I rig...

I can see the engine in my vw is the ALT (audi) engine. Its the 2.0 Sport Non Turbo 4 Cylinder

Can anyone give me any background on it please and if known to be any good etc ... just on a knowledge gather
