Re: Front Suspension Knock
Starting To Do My Head In Now. I Have A Knock On My OSF Suspension. It Does It Over Speed Bumps, And On Uneven Surfaces. I've Changed The Shockers, Springs, Wishbone Bushes, Bottom Ball Joints, Top Mounts And Bearings, And Drop Links. Is Their Anything Else That I Could Change, As It's Really Getti...

Re: Front suspension rattle
I would think that the B7 would have the Gen 3 rack, where as the B6 has Gen 2 rack. Doesn't mean it isn't that though, I would check all the suspension components first to see if there is any play. As mentioned above, rocking the steering from side to side made a clunk, that could be felt through t...

Re: Front suspension rattle
Same as above really. No obvious play in bushes so thought it was a strut or top mount. I replaced the suspension with KW coilovers, 4 new top mounts and 4 new drop links. But the noise was still there. I then did bottom arms and all 3 bushes on those. Noise Was still there. Only evident over rough ...

Re: R36 Prices
R36 prices completely depend on the condition, history and mileage. Obvious I know, same as any other car, but it seems more so with the R36. The body shape and colour also play a big part of it, blue is the most desirable colour whilst the estates seem to be more desirable. A tidy one owner blue es...

Re: Front suspension rattle
I had this issue on my R36, replaced the usual offenders suspension wise and the knock/rattle was still there.
This also turned out to be the steering rack. Cost £360 to sort and the rattle has gone.

Re: No wires to bottom of door puddle / courtesey lights ?
Speak to Jaraz on here (VWleds) He should be able to provide you with looms that will plug into your door module. coding takes less than a minute on each door and fitting is not harder than removing a door card.

Re: Tyre pressure warning lamp stays on.
Assuming yours has direct tpms with the sensors in the valves rather than using the abs sesors, then they are very sensitive! My light will come on when the pressure drops by just a few psi!

Re: Mk7 golf wheel fully working Inc Cruise control
I think what Jaraz is saying is that the airbag on the new wheel is a single igniter airbag and therefore only needs one feed. The resistor is used to prevent the system finding the "open circuit" hence not throwing up the light. It doesn't mean that it doesn't operate as it is meant to. D...

Feb 2017 So the car went in for its new suspension components and bushes on Thursday. Got it back Friday night after a bit of a nightmare with a snapped locking nut key. Gave the bolster a dampen with interior cleaner today and then attacked the crease with a brush. Loads better, still there faintly but I'll give it a few more hits of the same treatment and it should go completely! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v479/AJoakes/R36/F48E4807-868B-462F-9EBE-...

Nov 2016 Had a play about with the splitter today, but I can't fit it without screwing it into the bumper. So need to decide first then commit as it's going to take some manipulating to get it on! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v479/AJoakes/R36/12620FC4-FCFF-4FE9-9189-74682AC5F745.jpg http://img...
