am actualy looking at a renault scenic 1.4 dci 80 very slow car but £30 tax for a year its a 2004 with only 60000 on the clock looks a nice car

Didnt have a big hidden hole in the sump it had a brand new sump fitted this morning and the crank oil seal was ordered i only siliconed it to get my family som shoppin figured it might b ok for 3 miles til i fixed it properly on thursday but never mind it wel knackered now and im getting a newer ca...

put new sump on tday and siliconed the crank seal drove bout 3 miles
engine wouldnt turn off loads ov black smoke and then died so going to scrap now

now going to the big scrap yard in the sky
turbo has spooled the engine and i cant be bothered with it no more sick ov chucking money at it so im looking at buying a ford focus instead

part ordered will be ready to collect on thursday morning oh joy cant wait to take my gearbox out again
will only the 4th time since owning this car may aswell inspect my clutch too while im there even tho its only 2 month old

whilst removing my sump i found this, if you can see in the middle of the photo the plastic bit that holds the 2 bolts that you have to access through the holes in the fly whhel has broke but although it looks like a fresh brake i cant find any plastic lying about just wondering is this gonna cause ...

changed the engine coolant sensor with a nice new green 1
wasnt as hard as expected
and gave her a wash

so every1 is saying the brake light switch ??
which i assume is at the top of the brake peddle ??
i will replace it and see what happens as well as the temp sensor probably next week will report back and thanx for the advise guys
